LOVATO Electric distributor, Creative Technology, has been involved to provide a solution for multiple genset parallelling with multiple mains in soft transfer mode from gensets to mains and viceversa.
Engine set was composed from three 900kW Waukesha gas genset each equipped with one RGK900 generator controller and two 1164kW Cat diesel genset each equipped with one RGK900 + two 2kVA mains transformer each equipped with one RGK900MC.
LOVATO Electric solution has been considered the most suitable among the others thanks to the simplicity of programming the synchronizing controllers RGK900 series and the extensive technical support provided from LOVATO Electric technical department during commissioning. RGK900 have been setted for “stand alone functionality”, in order to operate like an RGK900SA.
