Description: Primex Plastics Limited is a world leader in extruded thermo-plastic sheet materials used in a wide variety of applications in the thermo-forming and fabrication industries. Located on the Aycliffe Business Park in the North East of England.
Primex uses the LOVATO Synergy software package to monitor the entire factory through DMG & DME Energy Monitoring meters as well as DCR Power Factor Control Devices and a Micro PLC.
The high induction loads caused by a thermo forming factory mean it is crucial to monitor the power factor as well as the line loads to ensure a safe operation and reduced downtime.
A well-balanced system is an efficient system and with accurate measurement of the loads over time; reports can be developed and archived to the Synergy server via the DMG900 memory module. The data from these reports can be used to check against energy bills, product cost, machine efficiency and profitability.
